This is a magical little plant for those who love tiny ones and tropicals. It is multifunctional and is worthy of plant notoriety!

I got them when I was germinating regular Syngonium seeds. Most of the seedlings came out normal but sometimes a surprise pixie would show up in the batch. I even had one of them going up a little totem. Somewhere in the rush of moving (this was many years ago), I either lost them or they got lost when Hurricane Andrew went through. Nice to hear that there are some still around.

I wish some of mine would start climbing. 3 years so far and no such luck. Maybe 2015 will be the year! Smiling

David,
You might be interested in another "pixie" I developed. Unfortunately, the plant expired some years ago, but I got pictures of it growing. Since I do a lot of hybridizing work, I germinate a lot of seeds - this plant showed up in a batch of seeds and it is the only one like it that I have ever seen in all my years of work.

Here's the link to my page showing and describing the "Microdora":

Its so nice hearing from a bonafide botanist Lariann!

That diminutive Elephant Ear is incredible. Fix the strain indeed! That would be very marketable someday to those who love miniature plants and especially miniature gardeners. Thanks for sharing and keep up the good works! Thumbs up I tip my hat to you.
