I ordered these from Pinetree over the weekend, a couple more orders to go from other vendors. They already shipped these, I am worried about them freezing, we will be at or near zero degrees for the next few days, I won't have a chance to get them out of my mailbox until evening Confused

Jennifer...you will love that Alaska Nasturtium mix. They went gangbusters along my sidewalk garden this year, give them lots of room! You can see them in my photo below ~

Awesome list Sandi Hurray!
I think the seeds will be okay for the day, the bubble envelope should keep them warm enough. Maybe put some newspaper or a towel in the mailbox with a note and ask the mailman to wrap them for you nodding

Hi Ronnie! NIce to hear from you, it's been awhile since I've seen you at the forums, but then again I'm normally at the daylily forum Smiling

Karen, I probably did go overboard, although we have two vegetable gardens and I will be renting two community garden plots this year. I still have many seeds in my seed refrigerator, but every few years I feel the need to splurge Rolling my eyes.

One can never grow too many flowers!

Got my database updated and cleaned my seed boxes so I am ready to receive my ordered and swapped seeds.

I pulled out some seeds already to get started this week. I have no less than three packages with "unknown" seeds. I'll start them early so i can try and figure out what they are. I like being surprised but it does remind me I need to do a better job labeling.

Nice stash Jennnifer Thumbs up

My swallowtail order came with only the marigold vanilla cream back ordered. Working on getting my dirt and getting all my jugs cut. I saved a few from last year, warm today so going to the shed to get them cleaned up.

Do you sterilize soil for seed starting? I always do, for indoor seed sowing indoors under lights. Does everybody do this? I do it to prevent damp off, and I never have damp off. OTOH, maybe a Hail Mary would be as effective. I'm curious if everyone does this.

But I never sterilize soil for wintersowing.
