Lynn , as a newcomer I'm still in a learning curve. It's beginning to dawn on me that it's too hot here for semps. THe place is chocker with all sorts of cacti and exotic succulents.

Paddy, do you get freezing temperatures? There are many cacti and other succulents that can handle freezing temps.

No pics of struggling water logged semps here...No pics of vivid-coloring arisings on any semps here!

Instead, some of you know that last year I became enamoured of the fuzzy/velvety semps. There's not much bright coloring coming from them but they are healthy and alive planted in one large pot outside: (Thanks to all those that helped me with my small collection!)

Thank you! ...Much of the fun is having them, showing them off and then have them admired by you all! Can you tell I don't have children or pets? I'm only a mama to semps... Sighing! I need a life.

Lynn, unfortunately not as much as I'd like. (Did I really say that???) It's hard to say because every time we have snow we have wind, so some spots in the yard are still bare and some are under a foot of snow. When hubby shovels he tries to throw the snow on my semp beds, if they're close, so my beds are covered well right now.
