GE (Jo) invited a couple of us to tour her garden today. Jo is an amazing gardener. Let me say she is retired and has had a couple of 'repair' surgeries. She does all her gardening without getting on her hands and knees, which amazes me to no end. Her gardens put mine to shame. In addition, she is a lovely lady. It was a very pleasant visit.

You have a different eye than I do.Its nice to seethe garden thru someone elses lens.

I am so lucky you and Debbi live close enough so we could have an afternoon like yesterday.

The plants are the survivors from " not so perfect placing in holes" If the plants didnt struggle to live I doubt the garden would succeed.
I give the bulbs,plants an edge by using compost.
Siberians and JI's didnt like it. I am fert .ing like crazy to help them survive.
Lilies get Bulbtone spring and afterbloom in summer or they wouldnt make it here in clay and rocks.

They are and I love the smell.

Jo is an artist and she has an artists eye for combos. Her gardens are lush and smell heavenly. We lunched on the deck and the fragrance from the lilies was wonderful.
