I have this filipendula I bought from Bluestone

http://www.bluestoneperennials...

But I cannot find it in the database. But I did find this
Filipendula ulmaria 'Flore Pleno'

Same thing or slightly different varieties?

I'm checking to see whether I can find any differences in the Google references to F. vulgaris Flore Plena (or Pleno) and F. ulmaria Flore Pleno. It might just be a case of mass confusion.

I don't know what to say. Some sites list F. ulmaria Flore Pleno as growing to 3-4 feet and other sites show F. vulgaris Flore Plena as a shorter plant, so there's at least a suggestion that they're two separate plants. I'll add an entry for the latter, but we might find out that they're the same plant someday.
