We've said it so often that it has become our informal slogan: ATP is all about having fun. What better way to have fun than to dedicate an entire year to celebrating gardening and every aspect of it.

@dave is there any chance that you could squeezes "Natives and Wildflower Week" back in the mix? I thought it was one of the more popular weeks and was a little ( well maybe a lot) disappointed to see it not included this year. I am however glad to see Hibiscuses included this year.

Natives/Wildflowers as well as Tropicals are two weeks that got left out. All I can do is say I'll talk to Trish and see what she thinks.

Thanks! It is a very popular week. I know we had more articles than days and had to double up on some days.

We do have to rotate plants in and out. Hostas, irises and lilies are getting their turn this year Smiling

I'm planting lots of wildflower seeds this year and I'm ready to celebrate them all year. Don't need a special week to do it.

Oh, I'll definitely be celebrating them all year. It will just be out in nature, not here.

That's what I call a celebration, Jay. Smiling You will have to come in at night, though, and that's when you can delight us with your daytime observations.

I'm really excited about wildflowers all of a sudden. I'll be sowing seeds in most of my flower beds and on the big slope in front of my house.

And even if we don't dedicate a week to a subject, it's still going on and we have forums for these things. Smiling

Also, when I want to see a photo of a wildflower, I start at Horntoad's profile and then click to view his database images. I've identified many of my local species by browsing his photos.
