As I said, perhaps my white's were some sort of hybrid. They were no taller than the orange ones and none of my Birds got over 5-6' tall, including the pot. Hopefully, memory serves me right.

The reason it's so hard to lose weight when you get up in age is because your body and your fat have become good friends.

Maybe they were the white form of the orange. I know the true whites, grow into monsters. I'll look it up. I know their is a yelllow form of the S reagine, but a white now that would be cool. .

I just don't know. I purchased those plants at least 40 years ago and grew them for 20 years before giving them all away (I moved north). They were beautiful flowers though and most unusual.

I did some online research. turns out theres 5 different types of bird of paradise plant but only 2 are widely grown the orange and the white or giant bird of paradise., many forms of orange have been devloped though including a white one and a one that has very narrow leaves, although it is though that the narrow leaves one is a different species.

Anyway me and mac ( A staff at my house) repotted the bird of paradise., i cut it out of the pot, buried it in soil, making sure to leave the top portion of roots exposed as i heard birds of paradise like that. and after a time gave it a drink. it has reponded by uncuring its top leaves and seems more at ease.
