That's odd they don't have the seed racks out at Lowes down your way because they are out up here. But I did not think to check the dates. I had very bad results with all seeds I bought at Lowe's last year, no matter what they were, almost nothing came up. I think they may have stored the seed in too hot conditions or something. Won't buy there again.

Me too! I'm controlling the urge to plant stuff! It's way too early here.

Hi Larry & Annie,

I just had to smile when I read these posts. I stopped at Lowe's too, but they didn't have seeds, old or new, out in displays. Seems like we're all itching for spring. I promised myself I was going to scale down - A LOT - this coming season. I did order some seeds from Baker Creek, though. I'd been looking for white marigolds and they had some. As for planting anything, everything is so frozen here it probably won't thaw out til July!

Baker Creek is new to me. Is it online? I usually order basic veg seeds from Jung's; I've been very pleased with them. There's an online seed place called Specialty Perennials that sells a vast number of various flower seeds...very good prices, service, etc.
