The thought of gloves made of dog hide is unsettling! Anyway I would hope not, but you never know what some of
these countries do! Anyway I just wanted to share a gardening glove tip for the ladies, I glop on Vaseline and put on
my gloves and get a good skin treatment while I am doing my gardening, works great!

Yeah, we guys can use axel-grease. Rolling on the floor laughing Whistling Of course, we might have a problem keeping the gloves on. Sighing!

you should always store your gloves in a ziplock or in your house, not out in the shed. One time I put a pair on and there was a SPIDER in it!! I could not get it off fast enough! Gloves stayed in the house from then on!

@Frillylily, Rolling on the floor laughing

I keep my oven mitts in the drawer at the bottom of my (electric) stove and once discovered a mouse inside one when I put it on... (I'm not a mouse-a-phobe so I took the mitt outside and dumped him out Big Grin )

greene said:Normally I use leather roping gloves when I work in the yard. Had one pair that lasted 10 years! But they don't work for wet work, so I picked up some bright pink Cancer Awareness nitrile coated gloves. http://www.tractorsupply.com/e...
These are fantastic. I wore them while ripping out some Rubus/Blackberry brambles and they stood up to the thorns just fine; no holes. And with the extremely bright pink color, it's is difficult to misplace these gloves. Thumbs up

I bought some gloves similar to these at Lowes but they were more textured, made for a firmer grip.
