Did you ever get an ID for your butterflies? I see it wasn't here, if you did.

#1 looks like a checkered white.

#3 is probably a sulfur, but again not sure which one.

# 2 is a Giant Swallowtail. I was in Houston for two days and never saw a butterfly...until one of those flew by! Kind of sad to only see one, when my place has plenty!

I used to play with the "horny toads" when my family moved to the Pleasanton/south S.A. areas. If only I knew then...I never dreamed they'd be gone!
