The nice thing about an ice storm is that I can take a chunk of ice and put it on the top of the RMH and it creates instant fog! I just went from 65% to 76% without even turning on any electricity or water.

Every dark cloud has a silver lining, huh, Melissa? It is sleeting here right now. Thumbs down

The reason it's so hard to lose weight when you get up in age is because your body and your fat have become good friends.

I really don't mist, but have given it some consideration. I usually just shower my orchids, and they do not sit directly in front of the fans. I have thought of setting up a mist system and even have a battery operated timer to control it.

I don't mist either, Ric. I have so many fluorescent lights, and the mist floats all over the place, that I use more of a spray.

Oh, I prefer the Bengal fogger because it comes in smaller cans, just the right size for a 12'x10' GH.

That Bengal fogger would be much safer since they are non-flammable. You wouldn't need to shut everything down. The Hot Shots use ISO-butane as a propellent. The only Bengal product I have used is the Bengal Gold Roach spray, around windows and doors at the height of the stink bug invasion. It was a fairly long lasting deterrent.

Bengal makes a wonder roach powder, no doubt. That's what I have used for years and it is highly effective and long-lasting, particularly the "Gold" formula.
