Well, if I order a hundred at $10. each that's $1000 plus lots of postage and lots of work. If I order 9 at $50, that's $450. and not so much work, plus I have a bunch of the newest ones. (see how one rationalizes this addiction!

I think I am on the same page with Greg. I still haven't had enough iris old enough to see that they grow well for several years. Once I have the fine art of growing stellar iris year after year I won't balk at the more expensive ones. Tom, you have all that beautiful loess that makes for prime growing conditions . After everyone lands at your airport to steal your iris, I will come in with a cargo plane to steal that amazing dirt!
