Wow! I was MIA for a few days and had a lot of catching up to do. I love all the blooms posted. I especially love the doubles. I'd like to get a purple one day. Last week or the week before, when I was in WM, I saw a couple of variagated DRs, but they weren't blooming. I'll look at them again when I go shopping later this week. One or 2 may jump in my cart. nodding I'm sorry for your loss, Hetty. Melissa, show them what real DRs should look like. Cute babies you have there. Don't let anyone know where you live. Do you have a fenced in yard?

I actually don't want people to see my plants. They want the best ones, of course!

There are getting to be some nice purples on the market.

Ooh, Melissa. I agree Those are to die for. I may have to splurge and order a double purple. You're so right about people wanting the best plants you have when they see one's personal collection. When people ask for my DRs, I give them small seedlings as gifts and tell them where they can purchase larger plants. They usually end up killing the plants with kindness. Speaking of, I need to plant some more DR seeds. MY MIL has a habit of regularly bringing her friends over to see my plant collection. Blinking

Gigi, this one was about 7 months old then, now 7-1/2. I attribute it's early bloom to community living (4 plants in one container) for 5 months, and not doing any root pruning when transferred to its own container. Thank You!

Wow! That is worth the wait! 7 mos is not long. Plumeria takes 3 to 7 years (or more) to bloom. So in the plant world. Adenium maybe the "dog" (matures fast) and plumeria is the "man" (takes years to mature). 😳😃

Wow, that many years! I'm glad I live where you just chop off a plumeria limb and poke it in the ground and it grows. I like only the fragrant ones, the rest should go into the compost.

Carol, you're welcome I didn't realize right away you are a returning member *Blush*

I agree Melissa, That's why I prefer cuttings too, most of the plumeria cuttings would bloom on the same year of purchase (assuming you didn't get a cutting from a seedling). I have several plumeria seedlings that are as tall or taller than theCuttings I planted and some are over 2 years old (with no bloom in sight). Although I did buy a seedling from a nusery that bloomed following year I purchased it.

So Adenium seedlings may be easier to take care of too because they don't need a lot of space and they don't get too tall. Thumbs up

And Adeniums can bloom as quickly as five months from seed.

Hahaha, late April's fool, this is a gorgeously colored Kalanchoe!

And I agree that is a beautiful Kalanchoe. They are popping everywhere here too in the big box store.
