I finally got around to repotting my Money Tree. Not surprising, it was totally root bound in that teeny weenie 4" pot from 8-10 years ago. I am surprised she was doing so well. So much so I almost was afraid to add soil!

I just went up to 7" pot as I want the tree to stay small on my kitchen counter. Here she is in her new home.

I added a bit of visual interest along the tall, tall trunk.

Looking good, Cheryl. Talk about a small world. I had a lady stop by the house and ask if she could take a tour of my tropical plant areas. She told me her son was relocating here and she was in town for a few days to help him move. She lives in Kingwood and she arranges tours and cruises out of her home.

Wow, yeah. It is a small world! I could tell you similar stories. It gives me chills sometimes how we sometimes connect. Next I will be meeting woman who's son moved to Starkville!

helpmytree said:Hello!
I've had my money tree since 2007. It has usually thrived. About a month ago, the main stalk completely died. Now the rest of it looks like it's dying. A picture is attached.

We live in NYC and it has been indoors by the window, where it is now cold. Since it has been struggling, I've moved it away from the cold and placed it under a plant light.

Any ideas what is wrong and how to save it?

Thanks!

I have a similar issue. My plant used to be much more full and leaves randomly started turning yellow and falling off. I noticed small bugs in the soil and I assumed that they had something to do with it. Any suggestions to save my plant please!
