I have stumble onto a new (to me) small time hybridizer working in Kentucky. John has 9 introductions in the database and 3 new ones for 2015! Only two of his current 9 have pictures. I have sent him a couple of emails and hope to have a go ahead to post his 2015 introductions and maybe his other work if he can send me pictures.
I just checked and he posts pics on his facebook page of his seedlings, some great work he's doing! You may want to try sending him a message there too.
"...and don't think the garden loses its ecstasy in winter. It's quiet, but the roots are down there riotous." Rumi
OK, that one got me to the Facebook page, Rob, but I didn't see any irises. The link Leslie had showed the bright blue ruffly Emma Cook iris, but are there others?
Politicians are like diapers, they need to be changed often, and for the same reason.
Oh yes! The Emma Cook like iris is called "Wildcat Madness". I am just waiting for the plant database folks to put it in the system, then I can add pictures as John gave his ok to use his pictures.
