I didn't pull my snapdragons this fall, and they never browned up. I noticed today they've actually grown bushier. Are they going to bloom again this spring and will that bloom be worth it?

Of course, they may die at some point this winter anyway but apparently our short, infrequent bursts of single-degree nights are not impressive to them so far. They were wintersowed after all.

Just curious.

If I plant snapdragons up near the house-they will sometimes come through the winter.
In your zone I expect that they will flower again for you.

That's wonderful, Carol! Earlier, bushier snapdragons! I think I'll transplant some early this spring to share the love in more highlighted spots.

My Madame Butterfly snaps have overwintered the last two...and last year's winter was fierce! They are much nicer and far bushier in their second year. Smiling
