Too cute! I had just mentioned to someone this afternoon that it was going to be a three dog night. I thought you were psychic! Don't think those three dogs could keep you very warm, though. Whistling

The stapled together greenhouse survived the ice storm. My pine tree not so much. Sad The ice sheered it off on once side. See that bend in the trunk? That is from Hurricane Alicia in 1983. This tree really wants to live but Mom Nature really has something against her!

It was quite a sight of ice. I would say it was pretty if it didn't do so much landscape damage.

You really took a hit! I hope you have some help to clean it up. I think your pine tree is trying to tell you something. Maybe, like "I'm dangerous!" Good that your greenhouse held up, especially since you had so much rain and ice..

We didn't get as much ice as predicted. I think the first ice storm that passed through wasn't as severe because it hit early in the evening before it got too cold. The second one, during the night, caused the overpasses here to close and the trees to get covered in ice. It wasn't that bad. When it started to thaw, the oak trees were dropping small chunks of ice. I can't remember experiencing that before. By noon, the sun was out again.

Margaret, I bet you think we're just whiners when the weather gets cold! You must have lots of freezing weather. We just become wimps when the wind blows cool. Sticking tongue out

Well it's what you get used to I guess, I would hate your summer heat, I would rather have the cold winter. It's about 28f now, it was above freezing today and with the sun there was a lot of melt, it was quite pleasant when I went out to feed the birds. Green Grin! Supposed to snow tomorrow, 3/5 inches. Shrug!
