Wow, it looks like it's been struck by lightning! God IS the best designer ever! :)

Does this plant need high humidity and no breeze from a fan that could dehydrate it? I have a fan on nearly all of the time that my 2 high-humidity plants (both prayer plants) don't like.

I am sorry I can not answer your question because the plant is not mine . I saw it in a greenhouse and thought it beautiful. I am not good with orchids and afraid to kill them so I just admire them elsewhere.

I do know we have some very knowledgeable people in the orchid forum , maybe some one there could answer your question

I haven't grown Jewel orchids in a long while but they prefer high humidity and do very well in terrarium settings. The soil should be kept moist but not soggy and they don't like real high light intensity which causes the leaves to drop. You can raise the humidity around your plants by placing the pots on trays of moist pebbles.
