Wintertime Is Chickweed Time

Whenever I give a talk to a garden club or group of master gardeners, I always make sure to spend a few minutes talking about one of my favorite plants, chickweed. Every person needs to know about this useful (and deliciously edible) plant.

Thread OP

I could grow a garden of nothing but chickweed. Any ideas on how to control this wonderfully delicious but invasive plant?

Where abouts do you live?

For us chickweed disappears pretty soon after spring gets well underway, so by the time we're getting serious about growing, the chickweed is mostly gone.
