How soon do you need to regrow these? The groundhogs would not let mine grow, and now I'm wondering how much of a show I'll get this year assuming I can keep them off.

In my garden White Swan is not as vigorous as the self seeding purples but is more vigorous than several other named cultivars I have tried. It has also self-seeded a little.
