They would look good in my master bath that has a beach theme, add a couple of sea turtles and seahorses. Set them next to the jacuzzi with seashells by them. I'm liking this idea more and more.

Just acrylics...they are rubber. If wearing them, I will scuff the leather a bit...trial and error will teach me how but I wear flip flops when I am away from the house.

I don't seem to have drainage problems with these. I didn't add any holes or anything...just the opposite seems to be the problem for me. They don't hold much in the way of moisture that's why the aloes do so good I guess. The water runs out around the tounge and lace holes.

I don't remember for sure but I bet if I went and looked there is a crack in the soles or the soles have separated from the uppers...there had to be a GOOD reason DH quit wearing them...no good boot gets tossed before its time you know!
