For what it's worth, I also use Firefox, and while occasionally it takes a few seconds for the page to load, I've never gotten a "timed out" message or a white page.
I some circumstances, I do get the "page expired" message if I use the back arrow, tho.

I would be curious to know whether the behavior also happens using other browsers, like Chrome. If so, then we'd know it was a network issue rather than a browser issue.

I use Chrome and I got the "Snap, your page could not load," or something similar message today as I left one forum to go back to the home page.

ATP didn't load for me either yesterday afternoon - Firefox here... It timed out and so did Cubits.

I've never had the white page though.

ps to say I was able to access Cubits via the phone which uses Safari

Like others, I get this message when using the back button on Firefox with ATP:

"Document Expired
This document is no longer available.
The requested document is not available in Firefox's cache. As a security precaution, Firefox does not automatically re-request sensitive documents.
Click Try Again to re-request the document from the website."

I don't get this with Safari on iPad, though.

Another thing I've noticed is that "New" doesn't go away when I've read a thread but I think that depends on how I back-track. Eventually it does, but until then I have to try and remember what I read.

Edit: Forgot to add that ATP is not at all slow for me, and I don't have the fastest internet. It is optimistically called "high speed", which is up to (that being the operative term) 3mbps.

I've been considering moving away from SSL back to regular http, for reasons like this and others.

It's nice to have the entire site encrypted but is it really necessary for a site like ATP? It's not like we're a financial institution or anything.

I've wondered about that myself... although I haven't really had any problems with the encryption, either. Shrug!
