Peppy (Le Peu), Peppermint, Apple Blossom and Stinky are a skunk fam that live under my garden shed Christine. methinks Apple Blossom and Stinky have moved away now that they're grown up though cuz I haven't seen them for awhile. Probably a good thing cuz Stinky almost got me pfffted by Peppy when he was a baby. Peppy is so funny. He just waddles right by me when I'm sitting out at night 'Lo Dahlia'. 'Lo Peppy', I say back Rolling my eyes.

JR Apple Blossom and Stinky were the cutest babies tumbling about in the spring but once they grewed I think Peppy gave them the punt from the den (which is the reality of skunk ways sigh). I haven't seen them for a month or so now.

Weedwhacker said:That will bloom between (better yet, overlap) the iris and daylilies. My perennial garden is very dull right now!

So is this section of NGA. Whistling Hilarious!

I do not post as much as I did when I started 5 years ago, but when bored I start checking history to see who is still around etc.
Now I am off the Sandbox, so I assume there it is still biased BS as usual there but this area Norther Gardening has three from 10 years ago and a few newbies, including me.
I imagine some have gone to the big garden in the sky but I still wonder why some left although there is far more to life than sitting in front of a computer screen. I tip my hat to you.

Yes, people come and go... I dropped out for a couple of years - for no particular reason, just kind of burned out on it - and just came back around the beginning of this year when I realized how much I missed my big gardening family here; lots of us have been "together" since the days when Dave actually ran "Dave's Garden," then we moved to "Cubits" when Dave started that site, and then moved to his "All Things Plants," which eventually became NGA. Smiling

It does seem like there would be more northern gardeners participating in the NG forum, though. Shrug!
