Thanks Ann!

Except for that one tiny red reflector it could almost be an old B&W! Hilarious!

Oh, that's lovely!
But, I think you could randomly point a camera anywhere on Chelle's place and get a great photo! Hilarious!

Beauteous! Great banner, Chelle. From where I sit in FL, it is even more beautiful that I don't have to be in the middle of it.

Heh-heh...not this time, Woofie. Green Grin! Ours doesn't get as quite as thick down in the valley. This shot was taken at the top of the hill and down the road a-piece.

But thank you so much for the lovely compliment! Lovey dubby

Here's the original.

I think they're different, Paul. The stuff we get here forms seemingly instantaneously under certain conditions, whereas hoar frost looks more like a steady building of layers. That's just my guess though.

I agree Perhaps lovelier but then it wouldn't fit on a banner. I've never heard of frozen fog before but then there are other icy things I have never heard of before. I didn't know about thunder snow until someone on ATP mentioned it.

Chelle, that makes a great banner for the weather we're having this winter. It seems like it never stops: Quite a few 'Snow Days' down here this year. Here's one from January 14th. The weather man from Indy called it 'frozen fog'. BTW it was 9 degrees F as I post.

Fabulous picture, Leon!

I know...9 degrees...brrrr!!! I fed the livestock and yard birds and scampered right back indoors!

Anyone want to see more of these types of images? I've a few more, and I'd bet Leon and other folks do too.

Such stunning images...especially if the sun is shining. Big Grin Probably have said this too many times, but I am from South Bend and remember how much colder and gloomy it felt if the skies were cloudy. {{brrr}}
