ATP Podcast #78: Late Winter Gardening

By dave
February 13, 2015

We're half way through February and that means that we're approaching the finishing line in our race to get through winter, so in this episode we're going to talk about those mid to late winter chores you might want to get to. We'll also feature a fun new segment of the podcast, "plant this," where Dave and Trish will each share their thoughts on a specific plant.

I wanted to try and listen to the podcast on my phone with ear buds and I was able to do that Hurray! Hurray! BUT....right at the beginning, just when you finished talking about the windmill, and Trish is talking about her pot ghetto, it started over again to Welcome to the ATP podcast. I had the phone in my pocket so thought maybe I bumped something and I just let it play again but again, at the very same place as before, it started over again. hmm... Any ideas?? It's an iPhone 6.

I got to the podcast by logging into ATP. The phone has a podcast app but I can't figure it out. I know our daughter has listened to your podcasts on her iPhone so I know I can do it. Maybe I should ask her?

Vic, what I'd recommend you do is download the podcast, rather than listen to it on the website.

So in the main area where we have the podcast, instead of using the player, right below that click on "Direct MP3 Download" and that will download the whole thing to your device. Then when the download is complete, it should start it up in whatever music player app is present on your device. Give that a try and let me know how it goes!

Thank you Dave Thumbs up

I did speak with dd and she told me the same thing. I went ahead an listened from the desk top. Great podcast as always...

Trish - when do you start your winter sowing down there? I'm a list freak too Whistling The Jazzy Wheeler gaillardia almost looks like a mum or a dahlia.

Dave - Shoe gave us lemon balm years ago and I keep it in a pot. Love the fragrance.

Vic- I do mine in Jan, and a few stragglers in Feb. I have to start early if I'm going to get the advantages of the cold temps.
