This is turning into a wonderful garden tour around the country. Great iris and gardens Debra, Celia, Jane, and Neal. Thank You! Mary Ann.....the iris you asked about in the first picture is a Revision....another Keppel goodie. Here are some more pictures of iris groupings.

Most of the bed shots I have are from a while ago, and have been posted before, but I'll post some again.

These two shots are the same bed from opposite ends. This bed has been completely redone and most of these have been moved to another bed

These two shots are of the same bed looking from opposite sides. Many of these have been moved and replaced with others, also it's been extended about 12 feet.

Many changes have been made to this bed as well.

A lot of changes have been made to this bed too. Picture on the right is same bed but a few years before the one on the left.

My historic iris bed. Second shot is same bed after irises are finished and the daylilies and other lilies were starting.

Same bed in early spring. You can see the dead grass where I've started to prep for the Doggie memorial bed. I had just planted that rose, so it's ahead of schedule.

This bed is along the edge of my veggie garden. You will notice there was no veggie garden that year, Rolling on the floor laughing

Thumb of 2015-02-21/tveguy3/2285be
Same bed last summer, but the veggies weren't planted yet. The short row on the left is the bed that took the hit with rabbits eating them down to the rhizomes. Notice the lack of bloom! Grumbling

This is a bed I created in memory of Sammie, Yetta, and Emmy Lou, Sammie is the Salt and pepper one on the left, Yetta is her daughter and is sitting on the loveseat, and Emmy Lo is Yetta's daughter on the right. Three Generations. They are all buried in this bed. If you look at the top right photo, you can see another iris row to the right of the doggie bed. It was new last year, and not filled with enough bloom to merit a picture. Maybe next year.

These are my seedling just after lining them out last year. You can see I'm encroaching into my veggie garden more and more each year. I'm going to grab a few more feet of it this year as well.

Thumb of 2015-02-21/tveguy3/311936
This is a small shade garden. I use it to kill hostas! Seems that's all I do, just can't seem to keep them alive.

I made another new bed last year, but for some reason I either didn't take pictures of it, or at least I can't find them.

That's it for now, I have at least one more bed planned for next summer, maybe two. One will be more of daylily bed with other things mixed in.

Nice to visit your garden Tom. I'm getting old enough that it doesn't matter if I've seen a picture before....I probably don't remember Confused I'll bet it's cold there......one of the seedlings I sent you is in the back of these pictures.

Rolling on the floor laughing Too funny Paul! I'm getting that way too! Way too fast it seems. Your Pink seedling is in the doggie memorial bed, the one in the picture is in the other new bed I made. I hope they bloom this year, as I have plans to use them in some crosses. Boy that Foolish Dreamer sure looks great in a clump. I hope mine blooms this summer, and looks as good as yours does.

Jane.....The pink in the last two pictures is Ghio's Picture Book. Betja recommended it a few years ago and I've found it to be a wonderful iris. It is only $6 in Superstitions catalog this year.

I believe the clematis is H C Young if my memory serves. Lost the papers a long time ago. It is a beauty. I have a bright pink clematis and a white one twined behind my back bed. Will look for a picture.

I have a feeling my beds will never be as beautiful as yours Paul. That said, I will have to see if I have any pictures of my beds other than a cloud of Acoma.
And it is not just Paul. There are many of you with outstanding taste in companion plants and garden sense. My iris beds are, well, iris. It will get there if I quit fussing about them and let things grow. !!!

Leslie...the most important person to find pleasure in your garden is YOU. I have friends in my neighborhood who have an outstanding well designed yard. When I go there I always leave thinking there garden is much nicer than mine but thenIa look at mine and think it is not to bad. I do not plant my iris with any color scheme in mind and it mostly seems to work out. Sometimes I get a nice surprise. My Hosta beds are another pleasure. Just one picture.....

I had one hosta I really liked but it died after 4 years. Not sure what I did wrong.

I have irises I planted last spring that, I'm hoping, will flower this year. About 8? I think?

Hostas as do well here. I have gotten inspiration for mine from some of your multiplant pics Paul. They do so much better than many plants in my shady areas.
