I have a question for you folks. I have a pale pink grootedorst rose that has been in my garden for maybe 15 years. The last three or four years there has been one branch that blooms with a deep rose pink color among all the pale pink blooms. I have not taken a picture of this which I really should. Has anyone else ever had this happen?

Pink Grootendorst is a sport of F.J. Grootendorst. It's not uncommon for sports to produce blooms of the "parent" plant.

Thanks for the information, I was not aware of being able to produce blooms from the parent plant.
