Debra - I was thinking about a lot of the SDB's where the beard is a really prominent part of the color scheme. There are a bunch of little ones that have 2 colors then a beard of a very different and prominent color.

Now Have a Goodun' is already a blend, but those massive beards almost deserve a color count of their own! LOL

OK -- just changed the theme of this thread to Multicolors and Blends.

No -- I don't think beard color should be part of the scheme. Think we should maybe do a separate SDB thread.......................?

You will love them! I have a few selfs, but for me, they are not as exciting as these blends with their multi-colored hues! I am the same way about roses and daylilies, I love the mixtures of different shades.

Did you know that a shade of a color is darker then it's true color, and a tint of a color is lighter then it's true color. Something I remember from an art class a zillion years ago. I have these moments you know.

yeah but you think I can remember that?!! I like blooms with shades, tints, hues, blends and anything in between!

Of course I have to do Chasing Rainbows too. It's so multi colored, and one I enjoy.
