so much wind last night I was afraid it was going to blow the popup patio greenhouse over. But it didn't. It just rocked and rolled. The big green house didn't have any problem at all. But it stayed warm in both and they both stayed up so all is well. nice sunshine today and it stayed in the sixties and seventies in both greenhouses.

Moving plants back inside after setting them out for some much needed sun, I heard the unmistakable sound of geese or cranes overhead. It took me a while to locate the small formation, but they were definitely headed north. I love to hear the migrating flocks, but especially with spring coming.

LOL! Cheryl. Spring usually follows the early geese flying north by 2-3 weeks. In your location it'll be here probably in 3 weeks or less.

I'm sure behind in my GH -- have a bunch of new seeds to get started, but have deviated and spent time working on an oil painting. Gotta get it in gear !

There was a break in the rain Tues, so i got my seedlings planted. These are my tomatoes. Also, i planted winter squash so it will shade the roots. The feed sacks have potatoes, and i expect to get more soon. Have sweet potatoes waiting for June.

I have two of these 8x8 raised beds. One of them has beans in the middle, eggplant in the corners. The other has sugar peas, peppers in the corners. The wire and sun shade clothe keeps the chickens out.

Snow and sleet two weeks ago and you are planting tomatoes and squash outside! Ah, Texas. It's a gamble. I hope you are correct and we'll not see more freezing temps.
