How about a feature that shows us how many people, if any, have read our blog?

Christine27360 said:I hope the little trees you added to us "Charter Members" will change with the seasons... for example, in the fall you could change the color to an orangish/red like a sugar maple in the fall, in the winter it could be branches covered with snow, and in the spring apple blossoms?!?!

Thumbs up

But some people's trees stay green year round. And we never have snow. Just saying. Rolling my eyes. Big Grin
Seriously, I think that's a cute idea.

That's it, no more changes. I'm done. I will be crittergarden here, on Cubits, and when I renew my Dave's Garden subscription on Noveber 4, I'll be crittergarden over there, too. DONE!~~~ UNTIL ONE HAS LOVED AN ANIMAL, PART OF THEIR SOUL REMAINS UNAWAKENED ~~~

Hi Dave. I wanted to say I love the way you have the main list of forums set up. They have the red yes , the last post date and time and they are in alphabetical and catagory order. I tried to set up my watched forums the same way, but they line up according to the last post made. I tried unwatching all of my chosen forums and starting over. I went down your alphabetical list and clicked them in order. But they still show up according to last post made. Is it possible to have our personal watched forums, line up like the main list?
And better yet, would it be possible for them to line up in the order that we have them watched?

I would like the ''watch this blog'' feature.
and a way to have a small informational box at the top of the blog as a personal introduction to the blog. The box would stay at the top.
Thanks Dave you have created a great place for many to be happy Smiling

I've just been wandering around a bit and what I'd really like is a way to "mark all read". Am I missing it? Since a lot of stuff was brought over from Cubits there is too much to open individually, I'd like a clean beginning so the red Yes meant something.

Debbie- the only was the fatched forums work is by date of last post. The idea is that these are your very favorites, so you always want to know immediate that there is a new post.

okay, thought of another feature today....

How about an 'ignore' or 'hide all posts by ___' option? Not that I need it or want to ignore anyone at this time...but this might be a good tool if someone finds themselves always irritated by another person's post. Having an option to 'ignore' that person may prevent fingers from typing thoughtless mean things, without thinking Whistling I know I use it a LOT on Facebook Hilarious!

Good idea putting a link to ATP at the bottom of the Cubits page. Sister sites.

It would be sweet to have a link to Cubits at the bottom of the ATP page.

Don't know if this has been mentioned...a place to keep our seed or plant trade lists...not a forum, but just trade lists that we can edit to keep current.

A chat room feature. Possibly the ability to make a private chatroom for a certain group or forum - maybe by giving a certain password.

A way for a moderator to nominate threads for a "classics" forum where interesting threads from all the forums would be copied. Would not be a lot in there to start with - but given time...

A way to put up links similar to what we had in Cubits - I don't want to have a lot of stickies clogging up the top of my forum. However, for people new to the type of plant my forum is about, I'd love to have a place for them to click on where I could post a lot of links for them to find more info. That way, they would know to come to ATP to my forum anytime they needed any info. I liked the "LINKS" feature of Cubits.
