Does anyone know what's up with Bobby Baxter? In the past 6 months I've sent him a number of emails about his polymerous daylilies, and he fails to respond.

Don't know anything about him, but 'Runner Dude' looks Huge!!!

I did see on Feb. the 15th he posted asking if anyone might know the source of the huge increase in site activity, maybe he is just overloaded?

I emailed him in the past about plants that I got from him that didn't bloomed true to name and never heard back from him. That did it for me. There was comments in the past about communication issues. It's possible that there's an explanation.

Several years ago I had communication issues also with him, and as Mike said, that did it for me.

I sent him money but never got the DVD, even after numerous emails on my part, but no response!

Ah...after seeing the replies here we may now know why the site was getting so busy!

Which is why I will never purchase plants from a certain hybridizer in Tavares, FL. He's only 35 miles from where we live, but he' apparently can't be bothered to respond to e-mail inquiries. Hello! What's the point of having a "contact us" button to click on your website if you're going ignore it. Not once, but several times.

Boy do I hear that. I have other issues too, but that was enough for me. I ordered 3 different cultivars last fall, I got them all right....26 single fans. I dont even think they will bloom this year. ( this is about Tavares commment)

Anyway... Im with the above on Bobby. Ive had plant issues and communications issues. To bad too. But it is what it is.

You may luck out on having single fan plants bloom, Pam.
I've had plenty that did and in the same season as received.
(And they came from 'discount' houses when I was first starting out)

But single fans aren't what one might expect from a quality grower unless they were listed as such.
There are many good hybridizers and growers so there is no need to deal with those who don't communicate.

I eventually got Tuesday and Wednesday because I am a big fan of A Moose Fishing On A Pond On Monday Morning. I love his names. It took forever but I eventually got the plants. He told me that Thursday would be coming out soon but have not heard anything. All of his webpages are outdated.
