How about one more iris topic for the "little ones". Or for maybe even one more after that for "beardless" irises. I know I'll live to regret the beardless thread. Hilarious!

Lovely photos everyone! I'll try and post a few tonight.

OK Rob & Celia -- should it be one thread for Louisianas, Japanese and Flatties? Or separate?

I don't know about Historics -- seems like they have been a part of every thread all along. If you think we should have a separate thread just for Historics -- shouldn't we wait until Arlyn can participate? Heck -- he could fill a thread all by himself!!! Green Grin!

I think we should have one for all of them. I don't have any more than one to share. I just want to see what else is out there. I had never even heard of a flattie until last year and thought it meant Japanese. It wasn't until these threads that I figured out it was a different kind of TB. See? I learned something!

Muddymitts said:This will be our Catch-Up thread. Any Irises that you forgot to post -- put 'em here. Any Irises that you ran out of time to finish posting on the appropriate color thread -- put 'em here. Out of town and missed a day? Or two? Today is the day to catch up with everyone else. Extending a special invitation to Arlyn who has struggled with waxing and waning internet signals -- here's your thread buddy!! If you can't get the job done until you're back home in Illinois -- this thread will be waiting for you when you get there!! Green Grin!

OK -- please post the thread that your picture would have been posted in. Otherwise -- have a good time!

I know that there was one day I didn't have time to finish my photos -- I've gotta go back and find out which one it was. Think it was Plicatas...................

I think I'll wait till I'm home ! Which should be in another week, or 10 days....depending on the weather !

*** If we do a beardless thread, then that would include Siberians, Spuria, PCI's, Cristata, Tectorum and Dutch iris as well and the Louisiana's and Japanese. ***

Which would be good, because I don't think many of us have large numbers of any one of these categories separately.

Flatties have beards, but we can make an exception?

That's fine Arlyn -- we can look forward to that! Smiling

OK -- the category will be Beardless, to include all of those varieties that Leslie listed -- and to include Flatties as well. I'll go and create the thread for it now. Smiling

I'm gonna pick up my missing Plicatas here. Not necessarily because they haven't already been posted by someone else on the Plicata thread -- but to boost the numbers of this thread.
