We went to this Daffodil Show sponsored by the Northern California Daffodil Society and Alden Lane Nursery earlier today, 07Mar2015.

A Daffodil show sounds fun, I recently heard there is a Bluegrass chapter that shows- I need to check that out.

I was either going to go to the daffodil show, or the orchid show in Oakland. I ended up not making it to either one, so I appreciate seeing the photos.

Oh, orchid show in Oakland? Was that the cymbidium show...oh, love that show too, I missed that one!

There is the annual flower and garden show coming up on March 18-22 at San Mateo, that is another one I love to visit yearly.

Yes that is the orchid show!

There's a rhododendron show coming up in Oakland and a dahlia show coming up in San Fran.

Beautiful daffodils. Do you know the name of the white double one? I'd love to get that one. I have 2 double ones. Tahiti and Delnashaugh.

Thanks tarev. I looked at some google images and think it may be Erlicheer. It is an heirloom variety. I'm putting it on my list of bulbs to get for fall planting.

Erlicheer was going to be my guess too. It's a great one Becky, especially for the south- you'll love it! They're fragrant too.
