So pretty!

Plenty of snow to watch here as well. You can see melting around the tree trunks.

Too cold to do anything in the garden really. I am hoping it might turn slightly warmer by mid or end week. I want my bulbs to grow and show flowers. So far only afew crocus showing. Lots of stuff coming up out of the ground though.

Same here, Rita. The wind makes it seem colder and it's very uncomfortable. I did a short walk through a few gardens and did spot a few crocuses in bloom and others, just planted late last fall, have grown about an inch in one day! At least there's hope.

I still have patches of snow in the garden although there is much that is clear. I need to start my spring rose pruning but it is too cold. I was hoping it might warm up mid week or end of week but probably not going too.

Looks like it might be April before we can get some real work done, Rita.

I just watched the weather news. It warms up Thursday but then by the weekend back to the temps like today and what is expected tomorrow. That means its quite chilly for this time of year. So yes, April before any real gardening weather arrives.

My February Gold daffs, supposed to bloom end of February, mostly don't even have buds yet. What a year.

I'll be lucky if the snow is gone by the end of April...something was said about snow showers next Monday. Thumbs down

I dont want to sound like a wet blanket here but out weatherman gave the longrange forecast. April and May will be cooler than normal. ElNino affect.
Hr described the weather pattern as ups and downs like March but temp ranges over all as cooler.
My guess is forties at night and 50's to 60's daytime for April. May ? who knows.

I hope not too much rain on Thurs here as we don't need flooding as well. We usually have sharp drainage, but not when the ground is frozen. ☺

Rita - Thursday will be warmer but I am not likely to garden while it's raining. Rats!

We're all so tired of waiting to get outside to do something...anything!

Each day I get up, open the blinds and hope the forecast was wrong and we'll have 50 degrees. I may be awake but still dreaming!

32° & it seems warm. weird. Snow is melting away from the front of the house leaving a pile of shoveled snow. While just the corner of the back of my garden bench is showing, you can see a humped line in the snow where the rest of the back is located.
