That's not hoarding, that's repurposing and I think it's GREAT. I have got some of my best garden "stuff" from what others tossed out as junk: I have a beautiful lifelike concrete tortoise (too heavy to lift!) that someone tossed out as junk....I saw a similar statue for sale for $200+. the lovely metal "moon gate" that frames the entrance to the Pond Garden is the circular rebar frame from an old concrete firepit... The list goes on. Good for you!
