Elaine, the company does indeed exist and I see you wrote an endorsement of them.

They are listed under the "T" companies. http://garden.org/greenpages/b...

They are indeed not categorized under Tomatoes but you can do that for them. Just edit the company's details and you'll be all set. Smiling

I'm looking at the categories in the square cloud and thinking it's woefully short. Some plants, brugmansias, bromeliads and passifloras are some that come to mind quickly, show up in the forums fairly frequently. Those may be the ones that come to mind because of the forums I tend to peruse. There are others I've seen. I'm wondering how much room is in the square cloud? I'm not wanting to suggest more than is possible, but could the options on the edit list be expanded easily? As a place to begin looking for sources, the green pages will much easier to navigate the more a commercial site can be listed as a specific source. That's better for both the vendor and potential buyer. Maybe a contest could be designed so wish fulfillment for plants could be served more easily? I quite often am looking for a specific type plant or tool, so having these 'categories' tied to a vendor would be helpful, but I'm not sure how specific they can be without being overwhelming. Cactus and succulents may work for sempervivums, but it would be nice for a company that really specialized in sempervivums if they were tagged with the specific category. Caladiums, aroids , gesneriads! Maybe the forum moderators could make suggestions based on what they see?

Regarding the cloud of categories, I really just threw that together back when we originally created categories. It works for now because there's only a handful of categories. But eventually I can see us getting many, many more categories, and at that point a cloud may not be sufficient to show everything. At that point we'll move to a alphabetized list or something like that.

I'll add any category that makes sense. Feel free to suggest as many as you like.

I don't see a category for seeds? Or is it there and I'm just not seeing it? Sigh, crummy eyesight is so much fun...

Hi Mayo62, and welcome to ATP!

It looks like 5 members gave their home address as the Netherlands,
and there may be more who, like you, have not yet added a home address to their profile.

Hello, @Mayo62, welcome to ATP,
In my opinion, Dutch nurseries would be a good addition.
We also have lots of visitors from all over the world to the ATP site; they may not become members but they could benefit from the recommendations. Thumbs up

Hi Mayo62, Welcome from me too! I agree with greene ... the folks in your part of the world could definitely benefit from any recommendations you might add to the green pages! Thumbs up

I think the only requirement is that they have an online presence. Not sure, but I *think* so.
