Got this plant today does anyone know anthing about it? The lady said was also called Brazillian FireCracker vine. Does anyone grow the Heart vine. My Mother grew them, she called them top ground potato. It is a fast growing vine with heart shaped leaves that grows the potatoes on the vine instead of the in the ground, some get as big as a softball.. It is a old Southern pass a long plant.

It is valuable to know the botanical name.

It could be Ipomoea lobata?

Hello again, Itre! Smiling

It sounds like it could be
Brazilian Firecracker Vine (Manettia cordifolia)

It's another lovely hummingbird plant.

Hi ltre and welcome to ATP! Where are you from?

I'm thinking you might have Manettia luteorubra

Candy Corn Vine (Manettia luteorubra)

As to the Potato Vine, it's probably Dioscorea bulbifera.

Air Potato (Dioscorea bulbifera)

Be careful with that one though - even tho it's generally a Zone 9 plant, it can survive a Zone 8 Winter and can get out of hand easily.
