It bloomed today . This seems awful early , but this is only its second year here so I don't know??
any one else out there with blooms already?

Whoa...I've got nothing even close to blooming here in my 5a garden. Most of them are just recently unfurled and some are still in the process. It'll be a while, I think, before anything sends up a scape. But this is a wacky season all the way around weather-wise. Lots of things have been growing and blooming earlier than they had a right to.

It is in a very large pot near the front step, only one flower so maybe it is a fluke. This is it's second year.

I was one of the first 300 contributors to the plant database!
I was in a garden yesterday that had a few scapes coming up already. Also on another forum an individual was asking the same question since he had a few flowering already. I think this weird spring we are having probably has the hostas confused. I have some hostas up and as big as they will get this year ( I hope) and some that are just now starting to poke out of the ground. On top of that we have some very near freezing temps forecast for the next couple of evenings.
