Been collecting Solanums for a couple of years and I bought seeds for Solanum marginatum in the fall. I have a couple of heatlhy plants, but there are no "margins". There are also no thorns.

Does anyone know what this could be?

It looks like Eggplant, light Variant, Lilac with dark veining

I think you are correct; how disappointing. I don't like eggplant so I don't grow it but I will this one out of curiosity.
