Thread OP

Dear,
Please tell me if anyone has kiwano seeds (Cucumis metuliferus) in stock for sale to Europe?
Does anybody know a reputable seed seller for kiwano?
I would like to start a field production of this friut but need reliable and good seed source for this.
I would need 250-500gr of kiwano seeds for 1-2ha.
Thank you.
regards,
Aleksandar Vjestica

Baker Creek offers 10 seeds for $3.00.

I've noticed that Baker Creek often puts many more seeds into a packet than they promised, but sometimes only a few more.

It doesn't sound like a good place to buy a half-kilo of seed from! They said the seeds were tiny. You might have to save seeds from many plants to get 1/4 to 1/2 kilo.

There are 22 reviews and a link to a long blurb about them:

Welcome! aleksandar.
There is a person named Tuinkabouter who lives in Europe. She has a seed sight. I don't know about the large quantity but you could inquire.
Her site is in Dutch and English and uses the botanical names; she has Cucumis metuliferus listed.

I can send an inquiry to another grower who lives in Europe and ask about quantity. I'll let you know if and when they reply.

If all you need is some starter seeds I could mail some to you; I grow these in my garden and have 100-150 seeds left to share. If you grow these out and save seeds you will have plenty for next year.

May I ask what country or area you are in? Thank You!

This website makes Serbia look like mostly Hardiness Zone 7b or 8a:

If it is mountainous, your "Zone" depends a lot on altitude.
