No the hosta and ivy overwintered very well and then I just added some annuals like the small begonias and impatiens.

Hi, Holly
I have seen some very nice Sedum living wreaths. In fact I had thought of trying one of those because of the low water requirements. Just got home from Lowes and they had a new shipment of sedums in.
It would make an interesting conversation piece.

I will be getting both of my wreaths out again this year. The semp/sedum one will need completely replanted. I picked up a seasonal PT job working in the garden center at the local Lowes and I have been watching for the succulents to start arriving. Haven't seen much at ours yet but I know they will be there soon. I was looking at the Hosta wreath from last year and the ivy has started to grow in and I see little hosta shoots coming up. Here is a pic of my sedum wreath from last year. This was taken shortly after it was planted and somehow I don't have a pic of it when it was more grown in.

Thanks Jill it is doing very well for me. I have overwintered it for a couple of years now and really like it.
