Arlene - Another set that amaze. I would never have guessed there was a fence behind the statue. Your gardens are so wonderful.

Thanks, Leslie. There's about 5' between the statue and the fence, which was installed by the original owners almost 60 years ago. There's also a path so I don't have to crawl back to weed or tend plants.

I took this photo of the path but the statue is hidden by the hydrangea. It's under the white XXX mark.

It's beautiful Arlene! Makes me want to go for a walk down that path just to see where it leads!

Thanks, Marilyn. The deer also love that path so they can dine on daylilies from the path side and the lawn side. They leave more than footprints as they wander.

3 deer jumped our fence last week, but found nothing to eat. I hope they remember that.

A deer fence makes for good neighbors. Occasionally someone leaves a gate open and then we have lots of fun... Hilarious!

This is old livestock fence we had up when we had the horses. It will certainly take some mending when the snow leaves.

We put up a deer fence years ago... The deer are much better neighbors now.. and my blood pressure calmed down greatly right after it went up Smiling

I hope you don't have too much mending to do, Lucy.
