I generally just use old pairs of sneakers to work in the garden. I would really like to wear something I can just wash off when they get really dirty or muddy. And also be quick drying. I've thought about "clogs", but I really don't like the way clogs fit. Any other suggestions? Thanks

The only shoes I garden in are crocs, but i have foot problems and they really are the only thing I can wear without pain. I have the ones with holes and they do let in a lot of dirt though, so I am going to look for solid ones this year.

My first pair still look like new, now into their second (or maybe third) season of heavy use. They even feel okay without socks!

They're more form-fitted than crocs, so your feet don't slide around as much if you have a narrow instep.

I'm the same, need to hose my shoes off. The Crocs don't fit me right, as my feet are narrow, but I got some Croc look-alikes made by Skechers years ago that fit me nicely and have been just wonderful, have a fuzzy sock liner and I can hose them off really well. I have a pair with no liner as well, but my feet get so much more dirty in them.

Don't know what I'm going to do when they finally wear out, but luckily I bought two pairs. I don't think they make them any more.

I use Crocs, either the real one or the knock-offs. I keep three pair and so there is always a clean pair ready.

The Sloggers sound interesting; I'll go check 'em out. Thank You!

I agree with Chelle on the sloggers, they keep you feet nice and dry, easy to wash off any mud you might get on them.

I love garden clogs but they don't give me enough support and my feet hurt after a long day. I wear medical grade clogs worn by professionals. They are all leather, have replaceable foot-support insoles, and rubber soles. They come in bright colors so you can't lose them after you slip them off outside. They have several styles in general but also different clogs, some with higher heel back or lower, for example. I get the ones on clearance for $65 and have free shipping.

If you're not picky about color, you can get plain white for $49
