I've been clearing clutter inside, traveling to relatives over the holidays, and getting stuff for the handyman to fix things about the house (incl. bath remodel). No time to add to databases, etc. at the moment. I've been hoping that others would keep chats going and such so we all know we are alive. Some are joining the MidWest Gardening Cubit, getting ready for the GIG (Gathering of Iowa area Gardeners) (substitute for DG Iowa Roundup). Everyone is welcome to chat there, too and join in at GIG time in May.

It's 45 here today--woohoo! Hurray!

It's hard not to get excited even though I know there's a good chance we'll still get snow and freezing weather. (Bleah!) But at least a day like this is a taste of things to come.

Today is cloudy -- but yesterday was gorgeous. we too have had a lot of 'meltage'
Piles that were over 2' are now about 6" ... so we are getting there. I found the pot that has Winsome in it... I want to bring that in the house .. it's a small hosta and i wanted to move it -- it was in a pot, so i pulled it out of the ground, but never got a chance to do anything with it.

I'll take it to Wisc with me in April.

-- I just can't get to it yet... there is a mound of snow blocking it in ... maybe in a few days i can get to it.

I believe Ann has quite a few. I have a few that are probably considered "small" -- i think the category "mini" has changed a bit.

Found this PDF on "minis" -- it has a list of them too, with leaf sizes.
