Welcome to you CarlosF, but that photo is so doctored up it is laughable!

A wrong setting in the camera doesn't mean to retouch a picture.
Let me show you another pic without the 'blue' background. It isn't mine but his owner passed away so I can't ask him permission to show it. There's no much difference with the other pic

Even if you are correct and the photo was not retouched, it still does not represent the true colors of the flower.

The use of a wrong setting to misrepresent a photo of a flower is different in a technical sense than retouching, but the objective and purpose and result is the same...a photo misrepresenting the true color of the flower. A photo off by that much due to whatever reason should just be trashed!

Unless of course it is done as art and represented as such. But I don't believe that is the case here.

I must agree with Horntoad and Seedfork.

This is a picture taken by the hybridizer,/grower, Barry Schlueter (deceased) presented by International Hibiscus Society's Global Hibiscus Genealogy Tree.

If you do a search for Fiery Furnace in the IHS group (here's the link https://www.facebook.com/group...) you will see more pics of Fiery Furnace taken by Brad, the person who took the one shown here. Except that pic the rest taken by him have a normal background so there wasn't any intention with that pic, it's just what he got that day in those conditions.

The pic I showed is also from Barry.

I found a single listing on e-bay, but it was sold...no further info. It may be out of circulation as Barry Schlueter, the hybridizer/grower passed away 2 years ago this month.

I know several people that grow Fiery Furnace at this moment. You can find it at Martindale's but it isn't available right now http://www.hibiscusplace.com/c...
