Thank you, Marilyn. I call my pots my 'gypsy iris garden' because they move about so much. They travel with me too when I go to garden meetings. I don't worry too much about them because the original plant is in the garden. I have noticed that the ones in the pots bloom sooner than the ones in the beds.

I always have some potted, Lucy, for door prizes and plant exchanges. They do as good as the ones in the beds. I think the reason they bloom earlier is that the sun on the side of the pot warms the soil faster in the spring. I also keep a lot of MDB's in pots. People say they cannot grow MDB's in this climate. I move the pots to the dappled shade after bloom and then when fall comes I put them on the north side of the house where it is colder longer and ice/snow does not melt for days. They green up and bloom well in the spring albeit later than the ones on the south slope.

Bonnie, I sure hope that the yellow one is just an extra along for the ride, and that the other two are Nosferatu. I know you were looking forward to seeing it.

Love the Bowl of Cherries. And super great pics all around. Is the bloom on Teagan large? Looks like it from your pics. Can't wait for mine to bloom now!!

It is larger than most SDB blooms. I am with you on hoping for the others to be N. I have bloom stalks on all three and since only one is showing color I am hoping the other two are Nosferatu. What would the yellow one be? It was from the PNW auction and they did not show a yellow. Perhaps when the grower dug Nosferatu he accidentally dug into another clump. If the two other ones are Nosferatu then I will be very happy with a little yellow noid.

It is hard to capture the color of this iris. Where my color shows tan it is actually moss green.

Wild Horses is a green and lavender/purple iris. It is one that needs to be close enough for you to enjoy rather than way over in the iris garden. I like it and it is one that is very hard to find.

This is my little Cristata blooming today. This gets too dry in the summer but still comes back and blooms every spring.

Here is another shot of Sparks Fly. I really like this little iris.

And these photos are for Debra. Jewel Baby clump. Grows like the dickens but this year so far every bloom has extra appendages.

This clump is at the back where it is colder, and for longer, than the clump at the front. The clump at the front has not put up any bloom stalks.

I put one photo in twice but there are four blooms open and all four have four standards and four falls. I have never had that happen before.

Jewel Baby often produces extra flower parts. SDBs are my favorite class & I enjoy them so much.
