You can't unscramble scramble eggs
I think this hosta was only a couple years old when purchased, so it's still pretty young. The leaf size is 5 x 6 1/2 with 9 vein pair , clump size 31" x 11" . First scape showed up 7/10/09 and started forming seed pods 8/13/09. Has three scape and only four pods total. Lavender flower 2" x 1 1/2" wide, no fragrance. Leaves have good substance and seem pretty pest resistant .That's all I took for notes other than it's one of my favorites.
Thanks - dash

Hi, Group hug
I hope it's alright to keep this tread going , I wasn't quite sure when I started it so I ended up starting two Confused My dog helped me lose the tag on this one before I got serious about keeping records. I thought it was Pauls Glory . It changes a lot through the season but here's last years record. Clump size 31"w x 11" h; leaf 5 1/2" x 7" ;(10 v.p.); 3 Scape started in mid-June : glaucous green 281/2" tall; Flower lavender w/ dk purple stripes 1 1/8" w x 1 7/8" L shape?? forgot to record but they were slightly fragrant. Deer ate all flowers last year. This will probably be a tough one to figure out. Thanks -Dash

Can't help ya one this one...

and having the two threads with the same name, they look like duplicates... could be why this thread has less views than your other one.

Not sure there is any way to edit that.

Thanks, I didn't want to use up too many threads, so I thought I'd reuse this one. Probably not one of my best ideas!!

Thanks Christine,
Hurray! I've been calling it Paul's Glory after much study of the hostapedia but when ever I see it in the botanical s gardens etc it doesn't match up. It could be that it's not mature Confused it changes alot during the season but the vein count is 10. I tip my hat to you.

I would say mystery solved! My Paul's Glory is 3 and it looks like the (2nd) picture above!
