I like wild environment.
Could anyone help me identify the plant I reckon is Helleborus caucasicus. I took the pisc while walking in the mountains near my house ( Big Sochi area) at the end of Feb.

Very pretty! And, it looks like they are both the same. Helleborus caucasicus is a synonym for Helleborus orientalis:

Helleborus caucasicus is an accepted name according to the Plant List. Hello George. Smiling

The one with reddish colouring in the throat does look like H. caucasicus, the all white one I'm not sure about, could be H. orientalis.

If you search for Helleborus on the above site you will find more species.

According to the latest taxonomic information (January 2015), H. caucasicus is now a synonym for H. orientalis subsp. orientalis. I've made the appropriate changes in our database.
