I've always liked the fragrance from apple blossoms in spring. Although this one is from a crabapple (Malus Prairie Fire) its fragrance is not as strong as other apple varieties. However its color and appearance easily make up for any deficit of scent.

I had forgotten about this banner, and I was so 'bone tired' tonight after a day of outdoor work. (Planting potatoes, strawberry plants and hauling pea gravel, etc.) After I took my shower I wanted to see the 10:00 PM weather (more rain tomorrow), and almost fell asleep waiting for the weather to come on. Then I remembered this banner from 2011 (I think). I've lost track of some of these pictures, but this is the actual tree the banner came from. Thanks everyone for the acorn, thumbs and encouraging comments.

Oh Wow! That is breathtaking! I love the banner because of the beautiful colorful sky, but the tree itself is gorgeous. Nicely done, Leon Thumbs up

I agree with Vickie. Breathtaking. I tip my hat to you.

Love your crabapple tree! Reminds me of growing up. We had a beautiful one in our front yard, but my Dad finally cut it down because he got tired of sweeping up crushed crabapples in the driveway. He had a point, but they sure are beautiful in bloom!
