I am a strong believer in the simple fact is that what matters in this life is how we treat others. I think that's what living is all about. Not what I've done in my life but how I've treated others. ~~ Sharon Brown

Great banner, Margaret. We have one that comes up on the deck multiple times a day but I've never had a chance to catch him long enough to pose for a picture! Lovey dubby

Now we dont have to look and see if the oak leaves are as big as a squirrel's ears before spring planting. We have a real squirrel!

I really love all critters but these have really tested my ( ) not really sure what to put there? In the past I had moved into a house that the owner who had passed away fed them. As new care takers of what they considered their home, we were very surprised when they started showing up and knocking on the windows. Imagine a half dozen hairy rats standing on two legs banging their little fists against the windows Like "Hey, you 'N there?". It gets even better though.....

My roomie gets a $500 dollar ABS system makeover after finding one under the hood 300 miles from home. The little bugger had also pulled all the padding off the hood and did some rather creative mechanics with it! After this he is on a mission...... the story gets way better from here or worse depending on if you ever had to pay for their potential destruction.

We just have entered into no more horse blanket weather here, but I have been neglectful about pulling the blankets off the fence and putting them away for the year. This morning I walk up to the feeding area and I see a squirrel pulling out the stuffing of my horse blanket Grumbling I start running toward it and it just pulls harder and takes off with more than that little twirp paid for .grrrrrr.........
I have many more stories of the destruction these cuties can cause......tooo bad, because they are really amusing and full of humor creatures.
